Andrew Malick spoke yesterday at the Monthly Breakfast program hosted by the San Diego/Tijuana Chapter of the Urban Land Institute. The program subject was on how local communities, the City, SANDAG and developers work together to create catalyst developments that leverage regional transit investments. Questions asked to the panel included: What funding sources are available to make these projects financially feasible? and How do we foster development that is authentic and enhances the surrounding community?
The program was a follow up to the recent Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) the ULI hosted at the new transit node on El Cajon Boulevard.
